The purpose of iTERF is to initiate interdisciplinary inquiry into technology entrepreneurship using lenses that draw from fields as diverse as, but not limited to, anthropology, economics, engineering, management, philosophy, psychology, sciences, sociology, and technology to further holistic understanding of the domain.
Fellowship Amount: USD 1000*, for 12 months
Aspects of Research
Any interesting aspect such as technology, emerging areas, and future directions in pricing curves, ecosystem development, ideation to PoC process, founder mindset, GTM strategy, business modelling/ strategy, funding, understanding the future directions of opportunities and emerging promising technologies as well as appropriate social aspects etc., as long as it is consistent with the purpose of the fellowship.

Applicant’s Profile
Anyone, from any part of the world – from any domain of academia, industry, faculty, researchers, students, practitioners, entrepreneurs, government/multilateral agency staff members or individuals can submit research proposals.
The language of correspondence, presentation as well as the dissertation, would be in English.
Application, Shortlisting & Selection
Applicants have to submit an application & proposal via an online form. The applications would be screened by a Screening Committee nominated by iCreate. Shortlisted applicants would make a presentation to the Selection Committee composed of global experts nominated by iCreate. The final selection of researchers would be announced subsequently. The researchers would then be reviewed quarterly by a Review Committee and given a lifetime recognition as ‘iTERF Fellow- 2023’ on completion of their research project.

- Only applications which are complete would be considered
- Applications in English would only be considered
- All applicants have to provide a non-plagiarism pledge for their proposals and any future work related to iTERF
- iCreate reserves the right to accept/reject any application at any stage
- iCreate reserves the rights to publish the output of iTERF fellows in any format and media
- Only successful applications would receive subsequent communication and no communication would be entertained
- Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification
- The progress of ‘iTERF Fellow – Designates’ would be evaluated on a quarterly basis
- The fellowship amounts would be released on a quarterly basis after successful progress review
- No separate travel budget would be provided for the candidates to attend either the Startup20/ G20 or the iTERF events at this point in time
