PfizerINDovation: NIPER Ahmedabad Edition, with Department of Pharmaceuticals, NITI Aayog Official and Social Alpha as anchor partners is designed to support start-ups building high-quality affordable diagnostics.
The program is for early-stage innovations to complete product development, user surveys and pre-clinical testing and will support innovators in building contextual solutions to improve India’s healthcare system.
Focus Areas
- Screening and diagnosis
- Affordable screening and diagnostic tools that have quick turnaround time for tests, requires minimum to no infrastructure.
Continuum of care
Solutions that make care accessible beyond hospital walls to monitor and diagnose the patient’s condition.
Who Should Apply?
The program will support the progression of up to six Health tech start-ups (with a working proof of concept demonstrated) that are building solutions to make high-quality diagnostics accessible.
Program Offerings
Up to six selected start-ups will receive a grant of INR 25 lakhs and acceleration support from Social Alpha and NIPER Ahmedabad including:
· Product development facilities
· Advisory for design for manufacturing
· Customer discovery and market identification
· Advisory for planning regulatory roadmap
· Pre-clinical studies with partner hospitals
· Tech transfer support from NIPER Ahmedabad
