TDK Ventures is the Corporate Venture Capital arm of TDK Corporation, which is a Japanese multinational electronics company that specializes in manufacturing electronic components. TDK Ventures invests in startups at a Seed to Series B stage. They are currently deploying their Fund-II which has a corpus of ~$150Mn. Their check size ranges from $250k to $5Mn. They reserve ~50% of their corpus to participate in the follow on rounds in their portfolio.

TDK Ventures is headquartered in Silicon Valley and operate in Boston, Bangaluru, India and planned global expansions.

The core focus areas span Renewable Energy, Materials Technologies, Cleantech, Industry 5.0, Mobility, Computing & Connectivity and Healthtech.
