Role Description
The current opportunity is for the position of Investment Associate/Analyst. The right candidate shall be part of our public equity investment team.
Core Responsibilities
- Existing listed portfolio: actively monitor the key value drivers of portfolio investments. Establish and maintain proactive systems to recognize and assess change in investment thesis. Participate in liaising with company managements, channel, competitors, among others.
- Support activities such as data analysis, presentation creation and channel checks.
- New investments: Complete ownership of the analysis process both from a qualitative and quantitative perspective including detailed industry analysis, business analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, among others through extensive secondary and primary research.
Profile Requirements
- MBA from top-tier universities (IIMs/XLRI/FMS etc.) with up to 12 months of work experience
- Non-MBAs from top schools (IITs/BITS/St. Stephens/NITs/reputed foreign universities or equivalent), having 2+ years of relevant work experience (in equity research, investment banking or buy-side roles) can also apply.
- Demonstrated passion for investing
- Self-motivated with an ability to work in ambiguity with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong financial modeling and presentation skills
