About the role:
Paragon Partners is looking to hire a core team member for a role of Investment Analyst who will work with highly experienced fund managers responsible for end-to-end investing role that would cover sourcing, due-diligence and portfolio monitoring.
Position Description:
- Perform sector research to deeply understand the investment opportunities
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, analysing financial statements, business models, market dynamics and competitive landscape
- Identify industry experts and build a deeper knowledge of the business
- Build high quality financial models and create investment memos
- Identify key projects for the portfolio companies and subsequently run project management office (PMO) to regularly track and monitor the performance
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting (no freshers)
- Hands on experience in preparing financial models and presentations
- Top-tier educational background across business, finance, engineering (CA-First attempt, MBA from Tier-1 B-school, IIT pre-MBA)
- Ability to learn fast, think quickly and create a high-quality output working independently
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills and good analytical skills
