Real Estate Investment Banking – Landeed

As the founding banker at Landeed, you will be responsible for defining and executing the vision and roadmap for our company. You will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and growth of our business and will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to bring innovative products to market.

Landeed is a technology startup that is focused on building a property title search engine for the Indian market. We are currently seeking a Real Estate Investment Banker to join our team and support our growth and expansion plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investors and partners in the real estate industry
2. Prepare and present investment proposals and pitch decks to potential investors
3. Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute fundraising strategies in the real estate sector
4. Manage relationships with existing investors and stakeholders in the real estate industry
5. Assist with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting activities related to real estate transactions
6. Participate in due diligence activities and other transaction-related tasks related to real estate investments

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years of investment banking experience in the real estate industry
2. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills related to real estate investments
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
6. STEM major is a must
7. Front-office: Previous experience at I-Banking (Bulge bracket or boutique) or investment management firm is a must If you are passionate about real estate, technology, and making a difference in the Indian market, we would love to hear from you.

Initial Screening: The initial screening will be conducted over the phone or video call with a member of product team. During this call, we will ask questions about your experience, skills, and motivations for applying to this role. We will also provide more information about the company and the role.

First-Round Interview: The first-round interview will be conducted over video call with a senior member of our investment banking team. During this interview, we will ask more in-depth questions about your experience in the real estate industry, your understanding of real estate investment banking, and your ability to manage complex transactions. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the role and the company.

Second-Round Interview: The second-round interview will be conducted in-person at our office or over video call with our executive team. During this interview, we will focus on your fit with our company culture and values, as well as your ability to work collaboratively with our team. You will also have the opportunity to meet other members of our team and ask more specific questions about the role and the company.

Final Interview: The final interview will be conducted with our CEO. During this interview, we will ask questions about your long-term goals, your vision for the future of real estate investment banking in India, and your ability to think strategically and creatively about business opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback about the company.

Offer: After the final interview, we will contact you with a decision and, if appropriate, extend an offer for the Real Estate Investment Banker position at Landeed.
