Startup Incubator Job – Assistant Manager / Manager – I-Hub, IIT-Delhi

About IHFC: I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) is the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi, established under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. As a non-profit company, IHFC fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and the development of collaborative robotics and allied technologies through research, start-up support, and industry partnerships.

Role Summary: The Assistant Manager / Manager – Start-ups will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Start-up vertical at IHFC. The role involves managing the start-up lifecycle from onboarding to monitoring, facilitating smooth coordination between internal teams and start-ups, and ensuring timely analysis and reporting of key metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the first-level filter for start-ups, conducting preliminary evaluation and analytics.
2. Maintain and manage the start-up database.
3. Support the team in designing, executing, and managing start-up cohorts.
4. Coordinate with the finance team and start-ups on financial analysis and reporting.
5. Facilitate the onboarding of start-ups by assisting with documentation and compliance.
6. Prepare and share regular analytics and performance reports on the start-up portfolio.
7. Assist in networking and relationship-building with start-ups, industry partners, and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

1. Strong analytical and data-handling skills with the ability to derive insights from large datasets.
2. Good understanding of financial analytics and start-up reporting requirements.
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
5. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Graduate in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in start-up operations, incubation, data/financial analysis, or related roles.
3. Exposure to start-up ecosystems, incubation/acceleration programs, or innovation hubs will be an advantage.
