About PIEDS:
Pilani Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Society (PIEDS) was established in 2013, under “The Rajasthan Societies Registration Act, 1958″ with an objective to promote entrepreneurship through incubation, business support, seed fund support, mentoring to technology-based startups addressing business and societal problems.
Post/Job Title:
Community Manager – PIEDS (Jaipur Office)
Reporting to:
Head, PIED Society, BITS Pilani
Job Location:
Jaipur, Rajasthan
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall PIEDS Jaipur facility
-Oversee the allocation, utilization of workspace and resources within the incubation centre
- Community Building:
-Identify and engage with local startups, innovators, incubators, Government organizations, Accelerators,
Colleges/Universities etc.
-Organize and host networking events, workshops and seminars to facilitate connections within the
community
– Match startups with appropriate mentors and industry experts
- Event Coordination:
-Plan and execute events, including pitch sessions and demo days
-Manage event logistics and coordination with external partners
- Collect feedback from startups and stakeholders to continuously improve the incubation centre’s services.
- Responsible for overseeing administrative tasks and processing bills/invoices
- Any other task as assigned by Head, PIEDS
Qualification and Personal Profile:
- Graduate or MBA with 3 years of relevant experience in the startup ecosystem or in an incubator
- Incubation and facility management experience preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication and influence skills
- Service or counselling orientation, with an attitude to help startups become successful
Other Skill and Ability Requirements:
- Proven experience in community management, entrepreneurship, or startup ecosystem development
- Documentation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Flexible with work timings
- Knowledge of the local entrepreneurial landscape in Jaipur is a plus
Remuneration:
Competitive remuneration (up to 10 Lacs)
