Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Incubation Manager to oversee the screening process for startups, represent JIIF in ecosystem events, develop partnership with incubators as well as investors, getting government grants for startups, developing mentor network and focus on getting the startups investment ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and Evaluation: Review and assess startup applications based on predefined criteria and incubation guidelines.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough research and analysis to validate the viability, market potential, and credibility of startups.
- Mentor Network: Enroll industry mentors who can help startups in their growth journey.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with internal teams, angel investors, and startup founders to facilitate smooth communication and decision-making processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously optimize and streamline the incubation process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Entrepreneurship, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA/CFA preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with an established incubator or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate business models, financial statements, and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
