About BGIIES: BITS Goa Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Society (BGIIES) is an independent society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, established to promote entrepreneurship at the BITS Pilani K. K. Birla Goa Campus. The Society currently supports the on-campus incubator, BITS BIRAC BioNEST, and operates the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, focusing on deep-tech startups.
The Role: We are hiring a Manager who will serve as the prime interface for entrepreneurs. This position involves managing the operations, planning, marketing, and development of the incubator. It requires a team player with leadership qualities, excellent marketing skills, and a professional attitude to handle the challenges of launching new startup businesses.
Key Responsibilities:

Incubator Operations: Lead incubator operations, including screening proposals, research, and working with entrepreneurs on their proposals.

Networking: Identify and facilitate networking with mentors, alumni, fund providers, experts, consultants, and advisors.

Liaison: Liaison and strengthen relationships with government and funding institutions.

Reporting: Prepare all required reports and maintain a comprehensive set of records on all incubator activity.

Fund Management: Assist in managing, disbursal, and utilization of funds received from schemes like SISFS, BIRAC, and CSR.

Purchases: Handle BGIIES purchases alongside the Purchase Committee.
Requirements:

Education & Experience: Graduation with minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience OR Post-graduation/MBA with 5 years of experience. Direct experience in an incubator or startup is preferred.

Age Limit: Minimum 27 years and Maximum 45 years.

Skills: Strong PR, marketing, documentation, and presentation skills. Familiarity with digital media and PFMS (Public Financial Management System) is desirable.

Attributes: Dynamic individual with both business and technical background.
