Call for Applications for the Post of Manager: Programs

i-TIC Foundation is the Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at IIT Hyderabad, focusing on creating a supportive and nourishing environment for entrepreneurs. i-TIC provides the necessary facilities to startup companies, along with guidance and mentoring by the faculty members of IITH and experts from the industry, to develop a robust ecosystem for entrepreneurship. It invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following post.

Position: Manager: Programs
(Temporary appointment on Contract for a period of 11 months)

Emoluments: Consolidated Pay of Rs. 80,000/- per month.

Experience and Qualification:

• Graduate from a recognized university
• 3 years of work experience in the startup ecosystem, a startup company, or as a consultant
• Desirable: Experience in government proposal drafting, policy framework design, conducting programs, coordination with various stakeholders, or consulting experience.
• Understanding of the startup ecosystem

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Shortlisting and onboarding of startups under various incubation programs and initiatives.
• Designing and implementing incubation policies and startup support programs.
• Designing and implementing government programs and policies in alignment with legislative mandates and organizational goals.
• Overseeing the prototyping lab and allocating resources effectively to support incubated startups.
• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including academia, industry partners, investors, and government bodies.
• Generating content for reports, press releases, newsletters, websites, social media, and branding collaterals.
• Promoting the incubation centre’s programs and successes through various channels.
• Any other assigned tasks by the superiors.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to own and manage programs from conception to end.
• Ability to formulate and implement any government-centric program.
• Good articulation and networking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at hand.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
