About Us:
Caret Capital is a Venture Capital fund that backs category building startups making India’s value chain efficient. Caret Capital’s portfolio comprises startups that are transforming three key aspects of the value chain – Goods and Services Supply Chain, Human Capital Supply Chain and Assets and Infra Supply Chain.
Caret 360 is the CXO community initiated by Caret Capital to help tech startups and industry discover each other. Collectively, the mission is to make India’s value chain efficient.
Position: Accelerator Program Intern
Mode: Remote (Immediate)
Role and responsibilities:
- Actively manage and run the startup accelerator program.
- Actively identify and onboard startups and mentors.
- Reading/reviewing business plans and pitch decks and undertaking preliminary screening of startups.
- Involvement in all aspects of due diligence of startups.
- Supporting existing portfolio companies across various areas such as business development, fundraising, ecosystem connects, etc.
- Preparing comprehensive investment memos, presentations, etc. to help drive investment decisions.
- Ideate, conceptualise and execute methods of engagement to grow the Caret360 network.
- Help establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success of the acceleration program and that of the portfolio companies.
- Regularly track portfolio company performance, and share regular updates internally and with relevant external stakeholders.
- Support team in various operations including communications, events, marketing etc.
- Ideate, conceptualise and execute new initiatives for Caret360 to expand its scope and presence.
Qualifiers – Education & Experience:
- Past experience/exposure of working/interning at a vc fund/startup accelerator/angel network/incubator is preferred.
- Experience of working with value chain startups is a plus.
- An undergraduate degree in business, finance, or investments is preferred.
- Basic understanding of financial modelling.
- Self-starter with an ownership mindset and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to carve out a career in the venture capital industry.
