Internship Opportunity – Investment Professional
About the Internship: Carpediem Capital, Gurugram office, is seeking a passionate and dynamic
intern to join as an Investment Professional. This position is also open for candidates currently
pursuing their undergraduate degrees, and the internship can fulfill academic curriculum
requirements.
The team member will be responsible for building a knowledge base on key verticals and exploring
new investment opportunities across sectors such as Consumer Products, Retail, FMCG, F&B,
Healthcare, Financial Services, and Managed Services.
Location: On-site, Gurugram Tenure: 3 months+
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Support key stages of the investment process, with a primary focus on analysis, valuation
models, and collaboration with portfolio companies.
● Tasks include, but are not limited to, preliminary screening, primary research (e.g.,
consumer interviews), market sizing, competitor benchmarking, valuation, financial
modeling, and drafting communications.
● Assist the team in sourcing initiatives and contribute to the firm’s proprietary database on
direct investment opportunities.
● Support the team in the evaluation, successful execution, performance monitoring, and
profitable exit of portfolio transactions in select segments/strategies.
● Undertake other tasks or projects as required by the firm.
Qualifications/Skills Needed:
● Pursuing graduation / completed graduation degree from a reputed university/college
● Demonstrated interest in principal investments.
● High degree of ownership and a positive attitude.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Interpersonal skills: clear communication and an enterprising nature. Ability to build
constructive business relations and be comfortable making cold calls.
