Venture Capital Internship – Founders Office Intern – a99 VC

About a99 VC: a99 is a SEBI-registered early-stage venture capital fund backing India’s industrial and infrastructure transformation. We invest in Manufacturing, Defence, Semiconductors, and allied sectors—working closely with exceptional founders to build the next generation of industrial champions.

Role Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Founder’s Office Intern to work closely with the Partner at a99 VC. This internship offers a front-row seat to decision-making at the partner level and a unique opportunity to gain exposure to venture capital, investment analysis, portfolio management, compliance, and fund operations. This is a high-trust and high-ownership role supporting the Partner at a99 VC. Please note this is not an investment role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Projects: Work on high-priority initiatives, ecosystem engagement, trend tracking, and build content for partners.
2. Research: Develop clear, concise, and compelling decks and reports that translate analysis into decision-ready insights for the Partner.
3. Metrics & Process Setup: Establish and maintain fund-wide dashboards, KPIs, and follow-ups with multiple stakeholders.
4. Operations & Compliance: Help in maintaining the fund’s compliance documentation and internal knowledge repositories.
5. Founder & Investor Communication: Collaborate directly with portfolio founders and investors — assist in drafting updates and coordinating meetings.
6. Operations & Admin Support: Handle essential tasks including scheduling, calendar management, and travel planning.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 6 months – 1 year of relevant experience.
2. Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite.
5. Interest in venture capital, startups, and India’s industrial/manufacturing ecosystem.
6. Ability to multitask, take ownership, and thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
