Venture Capital Internship – Operations Intern – Transition VC

Role Summary: Transition VC is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Intern to support our team in managing fund operations and compliance. This role offers hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a venture capital fund driving India’s energy transition.

▶️ Key Responsibilities:

1. Research: Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research to identify investment opportunities.
2. Investor Onboarding: Support the onboarding of investors and maintain CRM records of interactions.
3. Communications: Draft and publish press releases; coordinate with PR agencies and media.
4. Compliance: Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and assist with reporting requirements.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with angel investors, startup founders, and ecosystem partners.
6. Valuations & Diligence: Assist in startup valuation exercises, SEBI reporting, and legal/financial due diligence.
7. Portfolio Monitoring: Track performance and provide periodic updates for LP reporting.
8. Events: Organize and attend ecosystem events to strengthen Transition VC’s network.

▶️ Qualifications:

1. Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
3. Interest in venture capital, startups, and climate-tech.
4. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment.
5. A Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
