Role Description
This position entails a full-time on-site Summer Internship role located at ITI Growth Opportunities
Fund Office in Mumbai. The intern can expect to gain experience in various aspects of venture capital
investing while receiving mentorship from the General Partners. As an intern, you will work across the
following areas:
1. Sectoral Research & Thesis building:
a. Building report on a specific sector by analysing prevalent sector landscape, pain
points, tailwinds, market size, future trends and potential opportunities.
b. Scouting & identifying opportunities for ITI Growth Opportunities Fund for startups
within that sector, which would fit into Fund’s Investment thesis.
2. Deal sourcing & evaluation:
a. Participating in startup pitch calls to understand their business and learn how to
evaluate businesses
b. Supporting the team in initial deal flow evaluation and diligence.
c. Assisting with automation & tech transformation in VC fund operations.
3. Community building and other initiatives:
a. Building knowledge centre via publishing blogs/ social media posts and helping team
with events on different topics related to the VC/ startup ecosystem.
b. Supporting the team with other PR efforts.
Supporting skill
• Strong analytical acumen coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal aptitude
• Ability to research and Analyse industry trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Pursuing Bachelor’s/Master’s program in Finance, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Possesses a strong affinity for technology and stays informed about contemporary
developments in the tech industry.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Prior Experience in finance, investing, or entrepreneurship is a plus but not necessary
