Venture Capital Job – Associate, Infrastructure Investments – GIC

The Role: We are looking for curious minds to join us as an Associate in the Infrastructure team on a 3-year fixed-term contract (with full employment terms and benefits). You will work closely with colleagues in Singapore to identify and manage infrastructure investment opportunities and existing portfolio companies across Asia and Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Execution: Evaluating and executing new Infrastructure investments.

2. Investment Committee: Preparing and presenting quantitative and qualitative evaluation to the investment committee.

3. Relationship Management: Establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies.

4. Portfolio Management: Managing and reporting on assigned investments, including supporting GIC representatives at board meetings and engaging with management.

5. Special Projects: Participating in special projects such as developing new analytical systems or conducting market mapping.

Qualifications or Skills:

1. Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in an investment bank or a buyside firm, preferably covering Infrastructure / Real Assets investing.

2. Skills: Strong financial modelling skills and sound commercial judgement. Advanced skills in writing, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
