Venture Capital Job – Associate – M Venture Partners

M Venture Partners (MVP) is a Venture Capital Fund based in Singapore that invests in early-stage
tech companies across Southeast Asia and India. The firm is looking for a highly motivated individual
to join us in India and play a crucial role in sourcing investment opportunities and working with the
existing portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Venture Capital, demonstrating a proven
track record in deal sourcing, execution and portfolio management, as well as skillsets on fostering a
strong network.

Key responsibilities
● Develop outbound sourcing channels through established relationships with VCs and angel
groups, universities, conferences and events, and other community partners
● Maintain deal flow database and proactively develop process improvements
● Manage all deal execution aspects including, but not limited to risk and market assessment,
competitor analysis, due diligence, investment agreements, and term sheet development
and negotiation
● Develop and present investment opportunities for consideration to the Partners
● Cultivate strong relationships with founders while working through the investment process
and provide mentorship and assistance when required
● Monitor financial / operational progress of assigned portfolio companies, and assist with
quarterly reviews with management team

Requirements
● A bachelors degree or above from a top-tier university
● Minimum 2 years investment experience in venture capital and / or private equity
● Excellent English writing ability and vocabulary
● Keen eye for evaluating startups with strong analytical and market research skills
● Regional knowledge, strong network and experience in India
● Passionate about the start-up ecosystem and venture capital investments
● Entrepreneurial experience would be a plus but not a mandatory requirement
