At Blume Ventures, we strongly believe in being close partners with our portfolio companies, and bringing the full strength of our platform to bear in order to increase their odds of success. As a part of this, we have specific teams focused on market networks and capital networks in addition to relationships with MetaMorph (for hiring) and Constellation Blu (for finance/legal advisory).
The objective of this role is multifold – (1) to expand and formalise various initiatives that we have internally to support the portfolio around GTM/network access, (2) support in building out and executing Blume’s founder-advisor network to mentor and guide portfolio companies on their growth journey and challenges (3) to support the investment team in executing company-specific initiatives as needed to drive portfolio goals. Please note that this is not an investment role, and would lie within our platform function – but would closely collaborate across the investment and platform teams.
The needs of our portfolio evolve along with their various stages of growth – so the priorities of a pre-Series A company would be very different from those of a Series B+ company. This role will bring the nuance needed, along with the respective investment team member, to customise the support needed by each portfolio company, and also look at program-managing our network and relationships so that we can then unlock the right doors for each portfolio company. This might include – access to Blume networks for advisor/mentor connects, building out playbooks for specific sales/GTM channels based on learnings across portfolio, managing Enterprise relationships including but not restricted to CVCs, System Integrators, GCCs, etc.
This role would aim to support our broad enterprise B2B portfolio – which includes investments across SaaS, enterprise software, space-tech, EV, climate-tech, health/bio-tech, manufacturing etc.
You are:
Someone who has exposure/experience working with B2B SaaS and (this is a bonus) deep-tech startups. This could be in various contexts – internally in the startup in a business role, as part of an accelerator, managing the startup program of a larger corporate org, in the platform team at a VC fund, etc. This position is at a level equivalent to an Associate, so we are looking for someone with 4-6 years of experience overall. The horizon for this role is a 2-3 year period – essentially coinciding with our Fund V (to be raised) cycle. Post that, we are happy to discuss and help evaluate what would be an ideal fit for you, across internal teams and the portfolio.
This role will be based in Bangalore.
You have:

Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, various players and their dynamics.

Eagerness to work with early-stage startups and their founders, and help them navigate their path to success with tangible initiatives.

Ability to understand very diverse businesses across sectors – B2B SaaS and Deeptech – to an extent that enables you to judge and prioritise Blume initiatives.

4+ years of experience and ability to own and manage enterprise relationships

Experience running programs with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.

Strong written and verbal skills to manage communication across geographies.
Who will you be working with?
This role is part of the platform team at Blume and will be aligned with the portfolios of two teams – SaaS and enterprise deep-tech. So you can expect to work closely with investment teams of both partners, bringing a platform approach to supporting the respective portfolio companies.
