Job Title: Associate – Portfolio & Research
Fund Overview: Fortytwo.vc is an early-stage venture capital firm with a strong footprint in
India and the USA. Our investment thesis purely focuses on Global B2B SaaS and
Enterprise Tech.
Job Description:
As an Associate at FortyTwo.vc, you will play a key role in day to day functioning the fund
with primary focus on Portfolio and Research .
Your primary responsibility will be to work with portfolio companies on aspects like GTM,
Metrics definition & tracking, and building a portfolio review dashboard and reports for
internal use. Additionally, you’ll be closely working with our investment team to analyse
market trends, conduct due diligence, and develop robust investment theses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Support: Work closely with portfolio companies, providing strategic advice
and support to help them scale and succeed.
2. Reports & Portfolio dashboards: Work with Portfolio in identifying and tracking key
business performance metrics. Prepare portfolio reports for internal tracking
3. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and
investment opportunities in the B2B SaaS and Enterprise Tech sectors.
4. Due Diligence: Perform detailed due diligence on potential investments, market
analysis, and competitive landscape assessment.
Qualifications:
1. Background: Preference for candidates with a background in portfolio management
and investments. Experience in customer success roles within SaaS companies is
highly valued.
2. Education: NO specific degree requirement.
3. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the B2B SaaS and Enterprise Tech ecosystems
is a plus.
4. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location: India based role.
We do end up working according to the US Central Time Zone to accommodate our
geographically diverse portfolio. Also, we predominantly work remotely, but travel as needed
to engage with our portfolio companies.
