Venture Capital Job – AVP, Sourcing Team – Lets Venture

About the Role:

We are looking for a Sourcing Team AVP with a background in investment banking to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential investment opportunities, conducting preliminary assessments, and working closely with our senior team members to ensure a steady pipeline of quality deals. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and source potential investment opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
• Conduct preliminary research and financial analysis on target companies.

• Support due diligence processes and coordinate with internal teams on investment analysis.

• Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including founders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders.

• Prepare reports and presentation materials for the senior management team.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging companies to ensure proactive sourcing.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of fund raising experience in investment banking for Indian startups.
• Lead and closed transactions with VCs and Family Offices.
• CA / MBA Finance or CFA (All Levels Complete) (Tier 1 College)
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a high level of proficiency in Excel and building investment decks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with external and internal stakeholders.

• High attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable with travel and working in a fast-paced environment.
