Role Overview: This is a high-leverage role at the intersection of venture capital, community, and execution. As Chief of Staff, you’ll work directly with Z47 and DeVC Partners to help run DeVC’s operations, drive strategic initiatives, and engage and grow our community of angel and co-investors. This role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, deeply curious, and energized by people and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and Nurture the DeVC Community: Act as the bridge between DeVC and its network of investors. Design and lead initiatives that keep the community informed, engaged, and excited.
2. Support Fund Operations: Partner with founders through the investment lifecycle, from diligence to deal closure and post-investment engagement. Streamline internal fund operations.
3. Lead Strategic and Special Projects: Work on high-impact projects like fundraising, investor summits, ecosystem partnerships, or internal process redesign.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Experience: 2–4 years in consulting, investing, startups, or operating roles where you’ve built and executed under ambiguity.
2. Mindset: Builder-operator DNA – proactive, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
3. Skills: Outstanding communication, relationship management, and structured problem-solving.
4. Curiosity & Values: A genuine interest in startups and venture investing, combined with integrity, velocity, and a founder-first ethos.
