Besides direct pre-seed funding, in early 2022 we launched India’s boldest initiative for college founders, and India’s most exclusive platform for aspiring founders to find their co-founders.

We are now hiring an exceptional self-starter and builder as Community Lead within our Marketing Team.

THE ROLE

At Antler India, we are looking to create India’s most premier community that connects early founders to enable entrepreneurial company building. We are envisioning the platform to be the go-to place for every top founder in India who is starting up – to discuss ideas, share knowledge, build together and help one another connect to a network of industry experts and others in the technology ecosystem.

In this role, you will operate at the bleeding edge of startup ecosystem developments, future trends and interact with some of the smartest minds in the country.

In this role, you will help shape the vision of the community, launch it and manage the growth and health of the community. You’ll strategize and oversee several new & critical initiatives from strategy through execution, working closely with the marketing, scouting and investment teams to define, develop, and execute community programming. 

You will represent Antler, onboard new members, set community principles, engineer deep value-add for the members and engage the community; responding to conversations, seeding ideas, capturing and iterating on feedback and helping develop both digital and IRL programming.

This is a high-visibility role that requires exacting communication and leadership skills, and the ability to be the voice of founders. The role will involve being the face of Antler – building relationships both online and offline – through networking, conversation, programming and development of tools & products for the community.

This is a hands-on, multi-faceted, challenging role that involves working closely with the Partners and several teams. While your primary focus will be India, you will be part of a larger global team with access to work with top founders and companies in the Antler portfolio.

• Execute community experiments. You will develop the community strategy in real time, and run the process like a product-centric org.

• Collaborate and build strategic partnerships with external communities and organizations to bring value for the community.
• Work on impactful ideas and campaigns to build the community; planning and executing unique experiences for the startup ecosystem both online and offline.
• Be a super networker and connector. Connect & converse with many founders, industry experts, operators and tech ecosystem leaders and influencers.
• Learn and deepen your skills by working at an organization that aims to put content and community at the core of its strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A strong background in active community management or a similar role.
• Experience with community platforms & tooling.
• Experience developing and aligning community metrics to business objectives.
• Experience working with entrepreneurs, senior executives, industry leaders, influencers, and/or creators.
• A people’s person, who enjoys networking and building relationships. Ideally someone already ‘plugged into’ the startup ecosystem with a good network.
• Updated with the latest digital media trends and strategies. Someone who lives on twitter/ reddit/ discord groups and online communities.
• Intellectually curious; someone who loves people, tech and innovation.
• Bonus: you have created a strong personal brand online, or are actively working towards one.
• Ability to work closely & collaboratively with many teams in a high growth environment.
• High EQ; able to persuade, influence, and build trust with the community.
• Experience communicating, both written and verbal, to senior leaders.
• Passionate about working with founders, operators and within the Indian startup ecosystem + committed to the spirit and intent of the company’s core values

This role is based in Bangalore (we have flexible work policy, with 2 days per week in office)

The Process
