Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru is an exciting opportunity for a Events & Social Media Manager to join Transition VC.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:

• Conceptualize, plan, and execute impactful events within budget.
• Coordinate logistics and serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless event experiences for all participants.

Stakeholder Management:

• Cultivate strong relationships with corporates, startups, investors, and influencers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate their input into event planning.

Social Media Strategy:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
• Create engaging content for various platforms, fostering audience interaction.
• Monitor channels and manage online reputation effectively.

Communication and Branding:

• Craft compelling narratives and messaging for events, aligning with brand identity.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate event and social media initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in event management and social media in a corporate or startup environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Familiarity with venture capital, startups, and the technology ecosystem is a plus.
