About pi Ventures: We are an early-stage deep-tech venture capital fund in India, backing founders building technology-led companies in complex and emerging domains. We work closely with our portfolio companies and take a long-term view on value creation.
Why This Role: If you’re a CA who wants to move beyond routine accounting and understand how venture funds actually work, this role gives you hands-on exposure to the full VC lifecycle—capital calls, investments, valuations, investor reporting, and exits. You’ll work closely with the investment team, advisors, and founders, and build a strong foundation in fund finance.
What You’ll Do:

Fund Accounting: Manage core fund accounting, LP capital accounts, and expense tracking.

Reporting: Support monthly/quarterly closes, capital calls, distributions, and prepare quarterly investor reports.

Valuations: Assist with portfolio valuations and track key financial data of investments.

Compliance: Support SEBI AIF filings, FEMA/FDI reporting, and ongoing compliance.

Audit & Tax: Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors on fund tax, TDS, GST, and audits.

Transactions: Assist during investments and exits, including fund flows and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience: 2–3 years post-qualification experience in fund accounting, investment management, Big 4, or financial services.

Skills: Strong accounting fundamentals and Excel skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Attributes: Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn the VC ecosystem.

Plus: Exposure to AIF / PE / VC / startups is a plus.
