Position Summary – Finance Manager
Colossa WomenFirst Fund is an Indian Alternative Investment Fund “by Women for Women” approved by SEBI (Securities Exchange Board of India) in 2023, dedicated to creating economic agency and growth opportunities for Women in India.

These are businesses which are either founded / cofounded by Women, address significant Women-related issues or unmet product needs, or have a workforce where Women constitute at least 50% of the employees.
Colossa is expanding its team and looking to hire a Finance and Compliance Manger. Our ideal candidate is one who has 2-3 years’ experience, is highly motivated and extremely passionate about start-ups, and brings a strong understanding of finance, compliance and fund administration.
Position summary– Finance Manager
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: A Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / MCom / ACCA with 2-3 years of experience, ideally in statutory audit and / or fund accounting from a major accounting firms. CS will be an added advantage.
Job Description –
1. Financial Reporting and Budgeting:
– Liaise with outsourced accounting service providers for accounting and reporting and review all month-end and year-end closing activities, including finalization of accounts.
– Co-ordinating with the fund management team, outsourced providers, and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
– Manage budgeting and financial reporting processes and monitor cashflow.
– Oversee preparation and timely filing of all direct and indirect tax returns.
– Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes affecting AIFs.
– Liaise with outsourced service provider for regulatory compliances of the Fund and the Investment Manager.
2. Helping in Deal Diligence and Portfolio Management (MIS):
– Provide support to the investment team, as required, in deal closures including review of diligence report.
– Provide support to investment team in procuring and preparing MIS of investee company
