Vertex Ventures, VC firm based out of Bangalore, seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, and expertise in MS Excel. This role will involve financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data, directly reporting to Director Finance
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review.
• Work extensively on MS Excel to create financial models, reports, and dashboards.
• Ensure accuracy in financial statements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with accounting software (SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
