Endiya Partners, a leading early-stage venture capital firm, is seeking a skilled Fund Accountant to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a meticulous and results-oriented individual with strong financial acumen to contribute to the success of our growing fund.

Role:

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of Endiya Partners. You will work closely with the CFO, Accounts Manager and External Consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for investment funds and management company entities
  • Process accounts payable and receivables.
  • Ensure timely and correct filing of statutory payments and returns.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and vouchers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with tax preparation, filing, and compliance with regulatory requirements (Income Tax, GST, SEBI, RBI).
  • Manage all compliance and tax requirements for the fund, as well as employee expenses and reimbursements.
  • Support audit processes and prepare required documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of various MIS reports, including budgets and cash forecasts as needed.
  • Coordinate with bankers, service providers, and reconcile related accounts.
  • Assist and prepare a full set of accounts, calculate fund IRR, and prepare regular investor reports.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant is preferred (or) a Masters degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong preference for experience in the VC industry.
  • Hands-on experience in consolidation, financial reporting, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Tally accounting software
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
