Venture Capital Job – Investment Analyst/Associate – Sinarmas Group

As we continue building a robust and high-quality investment pipeline, we are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Venture Capital Analyst/Associate to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal part in our growth strategy by identifying and evaluating cutting-edge early-stage startups.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Build and manage a strong pipeline of early-stage startup investment opportunities across India and global markets, aligned with Sinarmas CVC’s focus areas.
2. Network Building: Leverage an exceptionally strong network within the India VC/PE ecosystem, startup community, and relevant industry stakeholders to identify high-potential opportunities.
3. Deal Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive market research, financial analysis, and due diligence on investment opportunities.
4. Investment Thesis Development: Collaborate with the team to develop clear, data-driven investment theses and recommendations.
5. Portfolio Support: Assist in managing existing portfolio companies by providing strategic insights, market analysis, and introductions to relevant networks.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the global Sinarmas team to align on investment strategies and cross-border opportunities.
7. Reporting & Insights: Prepare detailed investment memos, financial models, and regular reports to track deal flow and performance.

Required Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a top-tier institution with a focus on finance, business, economics, or related fields.
2. Experience: 2-7 years of experience in venture capital, private equity or investment banking. Prior exposure to early-stage deal-making is highly preferred.
3. Network: Demonstrated ability to leverage a strong, existing network within India’s VC/PE ecosystem, startup founders, and related stakeholders.

6. Strong research and due diligence capabilities.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with founders, investors, and team members globally.
