Role: Analyst, Investment Team

Program Duration: 3 Years (Fixed Term)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Flow Generation and Sourcing:
   • Meet and network with entrepreneurs, VC funds, micro-funds, and angel investors.
   • Generate a consistent and high-quality deal pipeline.
2. Due Diligence:
   • Assist Investment Professionals in analyzing potential investments.
   • Conduct thorough business diligence through primary and secondary research.
3. Financial Analysis:
   • Understand and analyze financial statements and MIS.
   • Engage in discussions with stakeholders to assess startup viability across various sectors.
4. Investment Thesis Development:
   • Develop investment theses through both bottom-up and top-down analytical approaches.
5. Firm Initiatives:
   • Contribute to firm-level initiatives such as Sonic, Spotlight, and other projects as required.

Requirements:

1. Education:
   • Bachelor of Engineering from top-tier Engineering Colleges.
   • OR Bachelor of Commerce from top-tier Institutes.
2. Experience:
   • Up to 2 years of experience in VC, startups, consulting, or established tech companies.
3. Skills and Attributes:
   • First-principles thinker.
   • Strong passion for the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
   • Excellent team player with a strong hustling mindset.
   • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
   • Understanding of financial statements and business metrics.
   • Excellent communication and networking skills.
   • High work ethic, perseverance, and commitment.
