Company Overview:

Climate Angels is India’s first investment fund that invests in early-stage Climate Tech companies. Over the past 18 months, we have invested in 12 companies across several sectors within Climate Tech. Several notable angel investors are investing in Climate Tech companies through us. Some of our notable LPs include Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Ashish Goel, Nipun Sahni, Gauri Khan, Phanindra Sama, Tejinderpal Miglani, and Paula Mariwala among others.

Responsibilities:

Research & Analysis :

• Build compelling data-driven reports by diving deep into Climate #TechSectors
• Create high-quality #financialanalysis and #financialprojection reports
• Setup & standardize the company’s internal systems and processes
• Promote our digital presence via insightful blogs and posts across all social media channels

Deal management:

• Evaluate incoming #startups by performing comprehensive #research on the startup and the sector
• Perform thorough and detailed business diligence and present investment thesis
• Organize and moderate startup #pitching #events for LPs

Portfolio Management :

• Assist portfolio companies in their growth journey
• Manage the monthly MIS reporting for the portfolio companies
• Perform the necessary numerical analysis for building business models

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Masters’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering (BBA, MBA, B. Tech, MTech, B.Com, CS, CA, LLB, LLM, etc.) from Tier-1 Indian/International institutes with a strong record academic record

Experience: 1-2 years of Experience at an Investment Bank, Equity Research Firm, Top Tier Consulting Firm with exposure to investment processes

1. Strong understanding of financial statements and business models
2. Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
3. Top-notch oral and written communication skills are a must
4. Robust attention to detail
5. Ability to work independently as well as in teams
6. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications like PowerPoint and Advanced Excel is a must
