About us
Good Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm. We back great entrepreneurs building in unpopular market spaces. We invest early and with high conviction. Our portfolio includes Meesho, Simsim, Orange Health, Solar Square, Entri, Wealthy and others.
The role
You’d work on multiple things: sourcing, operations, investment evaluation, deal closing, portfolio management, in a phased manner. We are a small team of high-ownership individuals – we expect you to do your individual work with full responsibility while also helping the GPs and the team on different projects.
Career development
We’ve designed this as a 2-year program but exceptional performers shall have opportunities beyond that and can work towards a Partner level. Alternatively, you can finish this program to become operators, founders or pursue higher education.
Minimum requirements
Up to 18 months of full-time work experience. You don’t need a background in venture capital.
What you will do
We value individuals with high curiosity, empathy and intelligence. Below is a summary of things you’d work on:
- Sourcing: Build relationships with founders, find potential investment opportunities, organizing events and workshops, develop your network
- Operations: Manage investment pipeline, run internal team meetings
- Investments: Meetings with founders, writing investment memos, quantitative analysis, primary research, articulating your point of view
- Closing: Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, reviewing transaction commercials (termsheet, definitive documents)
- Portfolio: Helping founders, tracking progress, review meetings, follow-on investment decisions
