Role Summary: Green Frontier Capital is seeking a dynamic and motivated Analyst to join the team in Mumbai. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates early in their careers who are passionate about climate solutions, venture capital, and sustainable innovation. As an Analyst, you will support the investment team in sourcing opportunities, conducting market research, and assisting in deal execution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

1. Investment Research and Sourcing Support: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities through research and preliminary outreach.
2. Due Diligence Assistance: Support the team in financial analysis, market validation, and data collection for potential deals.
3. Investment Process Support: Help prepare investment memos, presentations, and supporting documentation.
4. Portfolio Support: Assist in tracking performance and impact metrics and conducting basic analyses for portfolio companies.
5. Market Intelligence: Conduct sectoral research to inform investment theses and track trends in climate tech and sustainability.
6. Ecosystem Engagement: Help coordinate the fund’s presence at events and build databases of relevant ecosystem players.

Qualifications and Attributes:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related fields from a premier institution.
2. 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, or startup roles; climate-focused work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills specific to early-stage investments.
4. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Clear written and verbal communication skills.
6. A passion for climate innovation and sustainability.
