Venture Capital Job – Investment Analyst – India Accelerator

About India Accelerator: India Accelerator (IA) is one of the country’s premier accelerators and multi-stage funds. We are entering a phase of hyper-activity with a bold goal to execute 75–90+ investments in the next 3–4 years across emerging, category-defining themes.

The Role: We are looking for a relentless “Hunter” to join as an Investment Analyst / Manager to help us deploy capital into the next generation of startups. You will be the frontline of the fund, managing the full investment lifecycle—from spotting a founder in a garage to negotiating the term sheet. You will operate at the intersection of Robotics, Fintech, Mobility, AI, Deeptech, Healthcare, Sustainability, and ConsumerTech.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing & Deal Flow: Proactively identify and track exceptional founders before they appear on the market. Build a proprietary pipeline and represent IA at ecosystem events, demo days, and hackathons.

2. Deal Execution: Lead the process from the first meeting to the final signature. This includes initial screening, conducting deep commercial and financial due diligence (DD), engaging with domain mentors, and drafting Investment Committee (IC) memos.

3. Thesis Development: Do rigorous research to identify “white spaces” and emerging trends. Co-develop theses with domain experts.

4. Portfolio Success & Value Creation: Act as a partner to portfolio companies. Assist with Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, business model refinement, key hiring decisions, and follow-on fundraising (Series A/B) leveraging IA’s network.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 3–7 years of professional experience, with ideally 3+ years specifically in early-stage Venture Capital, Startups management, or Investment Banking with a tech focus. Exceptional candidates with operating experience in high-growth startups (Product/Growth roles) within target sectors will also be considered.

2. Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Ability to synthesize complex technologies into clear investment narratives.

3. Attributes: Comfortable managing high deal velocity without compromising diligence. Must have a demonstrated passion for investing.
