About Sun Icon Ventures: Sun Icon Ventures is a Mumbai-based, early-stage, sector-agnostic fund investing from Seed to Series A across deep innovation sectors, including but not limited to AI, Agriculture, Aerospace, Biotech, Climate, Health, and Robotics. We are actively looking to invest in Advanced Manufacturing, Spacetech, and Semiconductors.

Role Summary: As part of our core investment team, you will help source, evaluate, and execute early-stage investments while engaging directly with founders and India’s startup ecosystem. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source and evaluate startups across diverse sectors.
2. Conduct market research, sector/thematic analysis, and financial reviews.
3. Build investment theses and support decision-making.
4. Assist in due diligence (customer references, financial/operational checks).
5. Prepare investment memos, presentations, and internal reports.
6. Support portfolio monitoring and founder relationship management.
7. Represent the fund at startup ecosystem events.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business, economics, engineering, or related fields.
2. 0–2 years of experience in the startup ecosystem.
3. Curiosity, diligence, and willingness to learn.
4. Strong analytical and communication skills.
5. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
