Venture Capital Job – Investment Associate – Notion Capital

We are looking for an investment professional to join the Notion team. This individual will source and analyse investment opportunities in B2B Tech businesses from late Seed to Series B in Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for covering one or several territories across Europe e.g. UK or Germany & Benelux.
• Contribution to all aspects of deal flow from sourcing, screening and evaluating new investment opportunities to assisting with deal execution and closing deals.
• Analysis of follow-on investments.
• Meeting and networking with exceptional entrepreneurs/investors and attending leading industry events.
• Mapping and researching B2B Tech verticals across target geographies to identify attractive markets.
• Building a data-driven approach to managing our network, deal flow and due diligence initiatives.
• Leading small investments in high-potential companies, helping you build your investment pedigree.
• Contribution to internal projects in collaboration with the Partners at Notion.
• Supporting existing portfolio companies alongside Notion’s Platform team.

• Extensive understanding of, and passion for, B2B Tech trends.
• At least 8 months (ideally 1 or 2 years) investment experience at a VC firm.
• Strong reputation and broad connections to the European start-up and investment ecosystems.
• Advanced analytical skills – both strategic and numerical.
• Excellent communicator with ability to articulate ideas accurately and concisely.
• Humble, empathetic attitude.
• Curious and motivated self-starter.
• We are looking for the new joiner to be based in/relocate to London with frequent travelling around the UK or to Germany & Benelux.
