About Rabo Investments: Rabo Investments is the investment arm of Rabobank. The Ventures team, with a €150 million mandate, invests in and supports early-stage ventures in the Food & AgTech and related spaces. This provides an opportunity to contribute to systemic change while leveraging the knowledge and network of Rabobank.
The Role: As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the senior team members throughout the entire investment process. You will help build a strong deal pipeline, analyze investment opportunities, and stay involved in portfolio management. This includes attending conferences, conducting introductory meetings with startups, and coordinating due diligence processes.
Top 3 Responsibilities:
- Support the full investment process from sourcing to exit, including due diligence and stakeholder management.
- Analyze market trends and technologies, build new investment theses, and assess high-potential startups.
- Maintain relationships with co-investors, startups, and internal stakeholders within Rabobank to build network and deal flow.
What We’re Looking For:
- Around 3 years of experience in a transaction-driven investment environment; venture capital experience and a technical background are a strong plus.
- A demonstrated interest in startups, technology, and sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research and due diligence.
- An entrepreneurial, curious mindset with commercial acumen.
- You must be currently living and allowed to work in the EU. Fluency in English is a must; Dutch is a plus but not required.
What We Offer:
- Salary: Gross monthly salary between €4,516 and €7,094 (scale 09).
- Benefits: Thirteenth month’s salary, 8% holiday allowance, 10% Employee Benefit Budget, and a €1,400 annual development budget.
