Position: Investment associate / Senior Investment associate
Experience: 3+ years
Location: Mumbai
Professional qualifications: CA / MBA with work experience in a similar role, preferably in the PE / VC space.
Soft skills (must have!) – Delivery oriented, Affable, independent style of work and keen to learn
About the Role –
The candidate will be part of the investment team, involving the following responsibilities:
• Identify and source investment opportunities, building a strong deal pipeline.
• Develop financial models and valuations to assess investments.
• Support due diligence by analyzing business plans, financials.
• Prepare and present investment documentation for the IC.
• Assist in portfolio management, tracking company performance.
• Prepare investor reports and coordinate investor communications.
• Monitor and coordinate fund compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g. SEBI, AIF guidelines) by working with legal, tax, and audit teams.
• Ensure adherence to fund governance, reporting obligations and investment policies.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, statutory reports, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare investor reports, LP updates, and fund performance dashboards, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
• Support fundraising activities by preparing pitch decks, fund models, and due diligence materials for prospective investors.
