Company Description
Roots Ventures is an early-stage sector agnostic fund based out of Mumbai with total assets under management of about INR 500 crore across 2 funds with investments in more than 20 portfolio companies.
Role Description
●Partnering well across internal and external stakeholders (Due Diligence, Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, etc.)
● Act as the primary point of contact for all investor onboarding and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses
● Handling Investor needs (Reporting actions and queries, corporate actions, etc.)
●Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting investor relations and fund operations and ensure compliance with relevant securities laws and regulations
● Conduct regulatory reporting of quarterly and annual compliances of various governing bodies of the fund
● Assist in the post investment compliances of portfolio companies
Qualifications
● Minimum 2 years of work experience in mid office operations in financial services with experience in regulatory compliance reporting
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe PDF
● Knowledge of the Alternatives asset class and/or a passion to learn about all aspects of Alternatives (Private Investments).
● CS / Finance Graduates with relevant work experience within the Investor relations and compliance role
● Any history of working with VCs/Angel networks/Investment banks/funds is a plus
