Job Summary
Seeking a candidate with 3-5 years of experience for a fund administration and finance role in AIF
Category II private equity fund. The candidate would be responsible for overseeing fund accounting,
operations, investor reporting and taxation of the AIFs
Job Description
Fund Operations
▪ Supervise fund accounting for Category II AIFs, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and
financial reports
▪ Providing portfolio and fund related information to stake holders as may be required from time to time
▪ Prepare and file regulatory reports and disclosures, and ensure accurate financial statements
▪ Manage AIF taxation, including compliance, reporting, and timely tax return filing
▪ Liaise with custodians, fund accountants, auditors, and manage audit completion
▪ Oversee operations relating to trade processing, settlements, and reconciliations
▪ Maintenance of funds budgets and ensuring deal expenses are within approved limits
▪ Implementation of strong systems and processes
▪ Maintenance of Bank accounts
Investment Management support
▪ Reconciliation of deal cashflows (primary/secondary deals and periodic cashflows)
▪ Managing Capital Call and Distribution
▪ Wiring of Investments and ensuring due process is followed
▪ Coordination with Issuer/ Debenture trustee for deal execution and documentation
▪ Provide support for periodic performance reporting to Investors
Fund raising
▪ Maintaining MIS for sales management
▪ Ensure brokerage calculations are correct and the payouts are timely
Qualifications & Experience
▪ Chartered Accountant with 3-6 years of experience
▪ Relevant experience of working in fund accounting for Category II AIFs either as part of a PE/VC fund
or as part of a fund administration service provider
▪ Strong understanding of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements for AIFs
▪ Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
▪ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
