The Role: We’re looking for a young, hardworking digital marketer who’s keen to make an impact in the venture capital ecosystem. You’ll work with Blume’s marketing leadership to grow our content-first IPs—podcasts, newsletters, events, and playbooks—that have made Blume a recognized voice in the Indian startup ecosystem. This role offers a growth path where you can slowly take independent charge of marketing activities and potentially specialize as the firm grows.

Primary KRAs:

  1. Social Media Growth: Own and grow presence across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube (including Shorts).

  2. Content Growth: Drive distribution through the website, newsletters, and other channels; resurface relevant older pieces.

  3. Traffic Growth: Drive organic and referral traffic to the website through content, SEO, and distribution strategies.

  4. Portfolio Amplification: Amplify portfolio company milestones and stories ensuring founders get visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of IPs, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

  2. Design & Creation: Create and manage marketing assets (brand collaterals, social creatives) using tools like Canva/Figma.

  3. Content Creation: Draft social posts, newsletter editions, and video descriptions; identify podcast topics and guests.

  4. Collaboration: Work with investment, community, and platform teams to source insights and stories.

  5. Measurement: Own tracking and reporting of metrics (website analytics, social share-of-voice, podcast stats).

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  2. Experience: 3+ years in marketing operations, focusing on social and digital media.

  3. Skills: Strong understanding of content marketing, new media technologies, and analytics tools.

  4. Tools: Ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude) for content ideation is an advantage.

  5. Attributes: Highly creative, design-obsessed, able to multitask, and aware of the Indian startup/VC ecosystem.
