Marketing & Partnerships Lead
Theia Ventures is looking for a Marketing & Partnerships Lead to drive our content strategy and strategic collaborations in the climate tech ecosystem. Reporting to AVP, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our social media, content, and thought leadership efforts across multiple platforms, including LinkedIn, X, Spotify, Riverside (podcasts), Substack (newsletters), reports, website updates, blogs, and articles.
In addition to content strategy, you will play a key role in building and managing partnerships with university accelerators, incubators, think tanks, and discussion forums across India and internationally. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong grasp of climate tech narratives, and can effectively position Theia Ventures as a thought leader in the space.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and execute a marketing and brand strategy to position Theia Ventures as the go-to climate tech VC in India.
- Oversee content creation and editorial direction for blogs, newsletters, reports, and thought leadership pieces.
- Manage Theia Ventures’ LinkedIn and social media presence, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and consistent content aligned with our brand.
- Organize and promote events, webinars, and podcasts to drive thought leadership and community engagement.
- Maintain and enhance brand assets, including the website, event presentation decks, and marketing collateral.
- Track and analyze content performance, optimizing strategies for engagement and growth.
Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships with accelerators, universities, government bodies, and corporate climate initiatives.
- Curate and manage climate tech events organized or co-organized by Theia Ventures to strengthen engagement within the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with portfolio founders to amplify their milestones, funding rounds, product launches, and climate impact stories.
- Develop and execute ecosystem engagement strategies, working with policy think tanks, industry associations, media platforms, and climate networks.
- Represent Theia Ventures at industry conferences, climate tech summits, and networking events to drive visibility and forge new partnerships.
- Create opportunities for portfolio startups to connect with investors, policymakers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between marketing, partnerships, and investment priorities.
Who You Are
- Deeply passionate about climate tech and eager to shape the conversation in space.
- Should have 3-5 years of experience in content strategy, communications, or partnerships, preferably in climate tech, VC, or a related ecosystem.
- A strong storyteller and brand builder, with a proven track record in content creation, marketing, or partnerships, preferably in a top marketing or PR corporation or agency
- Very strong writing skills, verbal communication and comfort with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as design tools such as Canva, Notion, Figma.
- Highly strategic yet execution-driven, capable of managing multiple projects while delivering high-impact outcomes.
- Well-networked within the startup ecosystem, particularly with incubators, accelerators, and climate-focused initiatives.
- Experience working with VCs, startups, think tanks, or media platforms is a strong plus.
