Your responsibility will be end-to-end ownership on all standardised processes from the first touchpoint with a candidate up until the coordination and organisation of our “Demo Day” when we release our companies into the market.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing key operations of the firm, including managing budgets and financial forecasting, coordinating with external partners and stakeholders, and developing and implementing processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
You will work very closely with our Investment, Data, and Legal Teams to support our founders but also to improve processes and systems further, targeting effectiveness, efficiency, and attractiveness towards external and internal
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
● Build and lead a team to develop and execute processes with operational excellence
● Partner with our Talent Investor teams to curate the talent selection process and company-building experience
● Uphold stellar consumer experience end-to-end across touchpoints with the end user right from the first interaction through the program experience and all the way through getting funded
● Manage and continuously improve the local Entrepreneur First Platform to a first-class venture building arena. End to end management and continuous improvement of processes across functions (founder scouting, selection, venture building, investment, fundraising)
● Get deeply immersed in the Indian ecosystem of founders, entrepreneurs, technologists, and VCs in an in an effort to build EF’s awareness and relevance
● Manage full EF India portfolio alumni and company relationships to increase engagement and activate the alumni community
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
● You thrive on building processes and executing them with operational excellence. You have incredible organisational skills and have the ability to juggle multiple projects at once with attention to detail
● A customer-centric approach that shapes your thinking to ensure founders are always getting the best experience at EF. This passion translates into being always result oriented and thoughtful in your approach
● Great communicator, great leader. This role requires you to work closely with cross functional partners and India being a new site, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we run things
● An analytical mindset and willingness to apply to day-to-day operations. You’ll need to have a great understanding of what’s working and what’s not and with it, being rooted in data and quantifiable hypotheses
● Strategic thinker, who is able to paint the “big picture” but is also not afraid to be in the weeds with the details, working as part of a small, high-performing team. Your ability to think “big” also comes with a keen attention to detail
● Comfortable operating in a fast-paced company, in an environment with high levels of ambiguity and change. You are able to synthesise large amounts of information quickly and accurately, enabling you to make data-driven decisions
● Understanding of the venture ecosystem and passion for the startup world and emerging technology
● A team player mentality but with the confidence to “make things happen” independently, having a deep trust in your own decision-making ability
