Venture Capital Job – Principal/Head, Investor Relations – BlackHill Fund

About the Fund: BlackHill Fund I is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) with a target corpus of INR 500-750 crore. It is a growth fund employing both PE and VC strategies to support entrepreneurs in consumer, food, healthcare, climate, and financial services in the middle stages of growth.

Role Summary: BlackHill Fund is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal/Head of Investor Relations to lead their investor relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth management and fundraising for venture capital/private equity funds, with a proven track record in raising capital and managing investor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to attract new investors and retain existing ones.
2. Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), including institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
3. Marketing and Communication: Create compelling marketing materials, pitch decks, and presentations.
4. Due Diligence & Compliance: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Event Management: Organize and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and industry conferences.
6. Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and investors on fundraising progress and market insights.

What We Are Looking For:

1. A proven track record in fundraising and the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors.
2. Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant working experience in wealth management or fundraising for VC/PE funds in similar roles.
3. Strong networking and research capabilities.
