Venture Capital Job – Principal/Managing Director – pi Ventures

We are looking for curious, hard-working and entrepreneurial folks who are passionate about AI and DeepTech to join us as a Principal / Managing Director (Partner Track) in the investment team.

About this Role:

• Leading Deals – You will with time lead transactions and work with the founders directly. Depending upon your experience and exposure, you will start by shadowing existing MDs/Partners
• Deal Sourcing – You will identify and meet the best entrepreneurs and participate in pitch meetings
• Deal Evaluation – You will perform technology & market research and competitor analyses as due diligence on potential investments
• Investment Process – You will lead & support deal teams on executing financial transactions
• Portfolio Support – You will work closely with the founders
• Community Building – You will help in building community of AI and deep tech entrepreneurs
• Thought Leadership – You will help in creating a thought leadership for the fund by authoring relevant articles on AI / Deep Tech

About You:

• You find it easy to apply first-principles thinking and have strong analytical skills
• You have a high level of intellectual curiosity as well as a self-starter and growth mindset
• You are collaborative, empathetic and communicative. A true team player
• You are deeply passionate about startups, deeptech, and innovation
• You have strong communication skills
