The Role: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gift City, Ahmedabad for a Principal Officer – VC Fund. The Principal Officer will oversee fund operations, ensure regulatory compliance with GIFT IFSC regulations, manage investor relations, and lead fund audit and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fund Operations: Oversee fund operations, lead fund audit, and manage financial reporting processes.

2. Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance with GIFT IFSC regulations.

3. Investor Relations: Manage investor relations and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

4. Investments & Portfolio: Handle investment transactions, monitor portfolio performance, and track analytics.

5. Strategy: Support strategic decision-making aligned with the fund’s overall goals.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Overall experience of 5-10 years, with at least 5 years in related activities in the securities market or financial products (including as a portfolio manager, broker-dealer, investment advisor, wealth manager, research analyst, or in fund management).

2. Education: Professional or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

3. Skills: Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, and investment fund management. Expertise in regulatory compliance, fund auditing, and financial reporting.

4. Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle high-pressure deadlines effectively.

5. Preferred: Experience in the financial services or VC domain; understanding of GIFT City regulations and compliance is an added advantage.
