We’re searching the galaxy for an experienced investor to help build Spacecadet into the brightest star in VC.
We raised a stellar first fund from some of the best and are on course to establish an enduring brand in VC. We’re now looking for a new Spacecadet to be second-in-command on the investing team and grow into a Partner in future funds.
Your mission isn’t limited to just trad investing duties (sourcing, picking, winning, supporting) but also includes the mission critical work of helping build the firm into subsequent funds. This is your opportunity to build your track record, own your founder relationships, and ascend into a Partner role.
This position is ideal for someone who is currently in an investing role (associate/principal/similar), has a flair for marketing/storytelling (or at least a creative spark), and is hungry for a meteoric rise in responsibility and ownership.

🛸 Your Mission
This is a great role for someone who wants to be involved in all aspects of building an emerging VC fund while building their track record and relationships. You’ll also get the chance to build meaningful relationships with our entire network, including all of our founders, co-investors, and LPs.
- Build: This is day #1. Help us build a legacy. You’ll be responsible for leading key projects, driving both the vision and our trajectory.
- Source: Be deeply engaged in ****building Spacecadet’s network and community (and your own).
- Pick: Evaluate companies using our investment criteria and your perspective. Build a compelling case for Wiz + Eckler for companies you think we should invest in.
- Win: Lean on your own unique strengths in building rapport with founders and selling them on why Spacecadet is a valuable partner.
- Support: Help our portfolio companies craft their narrative, support with high level marketing strategy, build community among our founders and LPs.

The first dreamt of us on the moon. The second got us there. Any great leap forward takes both.
- 4+ Years in VC (associate, principal, or similar).
- Incredibly driven, autonomous, and entrepreneurial! Important that you don’t need much oversight but also aren’t afraid to ask for guidance or collaboration.
- Attention to detail — you take pride in your attention to the “small things”. You cringe when work is done sloppily, you spot small mistakes, things are formatted weirdly, etc. (spot the mistake in this post 🙃)
- Organized, strong writing skills, strong research skills.
- Intellectually curious and deeply immersed in tech.
- Humble and eager to do both fun and not so fun tasks.
- Kind, good-humored, free-thinker, thoughtful.
- US-based but remote-first. We’re fully remote and spread across timezones, you should be comfortable navigating interstellar communication and working autonomously.
