Venture Capital Job – Senior Analyst – Capria Ventures

About the Role: Capria Ventures is nearing the close of its third flagship India fund, which invests in Jobtech, AI SaaS, Fintech, Healthtech, and Agritech. We’re focused on startups leveraging Applied AI to build bigger, next-generation businesses rapidly. We’re looking for a rockstar Senior Analyst to join our team in Bangalore.

This role is for a self-motivated and proactive individual passionate about networking with entrepreneurs, identifying opportunities early, and fueling the growth of transformative companies.

Responsibilities:

1. Sourcing, Screening, and Closing: You will be involved in sourcing, evaluating, and closing deals to ensure we make the best investments while building relationships within the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
2. Portfolio Management & Exits: Work closely with portfolio teams to help them realize their full potential, including strategic decisions, improving unit economics, hiring talent, and facilitating exits.
3. Marketing: Work with Capria’s marketing team to enhance the firm’s visibility and brand through a “portfolio first” approach.
4. Ecosystem Development: Build connections in the industry and with ecosystem stakeholders.

Relevant Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

1. A graduate from a Tier 1 college in India or abroad (IITs, BITS, SRCC, etc.).
2. 1-3 years of work experience, with strong analytical, research, communication, and presentation skills.
3. Self-driven with a knack for working in a small team, exceptionally personable, intellectually fierce, and task-oriented.
4. A passion for early-stage startups and entrepreneurship.
5. Technical and/or operational experience is a plus; CFA L-1 is preferred.

Work Model:

1. Our firm has a hybrid home/office model; you should anticipate spending ~4 days per week in our offices in Ulsoor, Bangalore.
