UNLEASH Capital Partners (“UNLEASH”) is an early-stage venture capital fund focusing on inclusive financial services in India. We firmly believe financial inclusion is a fundamental cornerstone, empowering everyone to shape their future. Our investment portfolio encompasses a diverse array of startups that address financial inclusion challenges, both directly and indirectly.

Gojo & Company. Inc., a Japanese Financial Inclusion-focused investment holding company, is the co-GP and anchor LP of the first fund. We have presences in Bangalore and Mumbai.

Key highlights of the position

The candidate will be a founding team member of UNLEASH. We expect the founding team member to be a fully self-driving hustler while respecting teamwork. To build a long-lasting team, we highly value people who can synchronise with the company’s vision, mission, and long-term goal, not only their professional skill set.

Responsibilities

• Scouting early-stage deals
• Research industry and market dynamics
• Perform Financial modelling and relevant analyses
• Participate in writing investment committee note, including the impact logic model
• Monitor and manage the performance of portfolio companies

Experience

• 1-4 years VC/investing experience preferably in financial services and/or fintech sector

Compensation & Location

• The compensation shall be market-competitive.
• The candidate can be based in Bengaluru or Mumbai.
