About Kalaari Capital: Kalaari Capital is an early-stage, technology-focused venture capital firm based in Bangalore. We are a conviction-driven investor that partners with founders building for the future. This role offers a front-row seat to India’s startup ecosystem from the investor side and direct mentorship from a senior communications leader.
The Role: We are looking for a sharp, editorially-minded Social Media Manager to own and operate the social media presence for a conviction-driven investment initiative. This is not a generic social media role; you will translate investment conviction into analytical, data-forward, and institutionally credible content.
Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation: Own the end-to-end content calendar for LinkedIn and Instagram. Write original posts and carousels positioning portfolio founders as market-builders.

Data-Forward Content: Create content based on funding landscape analysis, portfolio metrics, market thesis breakdowns, and ecosystem commentary.

Production: Produce 10-16 static/carousel posts and 4-6 reels per month.

Compliance: Enforce messaging guardrails to ensure every post reflects conviction rather than just cause.

Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and DMs daily, building a targeted audience of founders and investors.

Analytics: Deliver weekly performance snapshots and monthly reports covering engagement, growth, and inbound deal flow quality.
Who You Are:

Experience: Ideally 2 years of experience; we value hunger and sharpness over tenure.

Skills: Strong editorial sensibility with the ability to write clean copy without buzzwords. Proficiency in design tools like Canva (minimum) or Figma (preferred).

Knowledge: Working knowledge of India’s startup and VC ecosystem (e.g., understanding Series A and funding rounds).

Attributes: Highly independent with a “high ownership” mindset and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
